Fantom XA + MIDI KEYBOARD One Sustain Pedal ?

Hello,

I was wondering if it was possible to use ONLY ONE Sustain Pedal for Both Keyboards ?
The setup is has follow :
Fantom XA with a M-AUDIO 88 PRO Keyboard via MIDI , the PEDAL is connected to the ROLAND FANTOM XA.

Problem :
When I connect the Sustain Pedal to the Fantom XA , It does the Sustain function on the Fantom XA ONLY.

When I connect the Sustain Pedal to the M-AUDIO , it works ONLY on the M-AUDIO.

I would like to have the Sustain Pedal Working on BOTH , is this possible ?

Don't know the details 'bout the MIDI board, but if the pedal is connected to the Xa, the Xa's MIDI OUT should be connected to the other board's MIDI IN. You want a MIDI signal concerning 'pedal hold'/sustain to be sent from the source (Xa) to the other board.

If the MIDI board is mastering the Xa (slave, and in a way, that setup would make more sense. I don't know your set-up, of course), the pedal should be connected to the other board.
