Re-sampling - Write / Save does not route to DIMM
7 Sep 2010, 18:56Hey guys, looking for some help here. I've got a 1GB DIMM loaded in my FG8 and according to the system information it's 97% free (970MB).. basically unused. When I look at the system storage it's about 70% used. I've created a song (2 minutes) to which I wanted to Re-Sample to my DIMM but can't quite figure it out. After Re-sample I attempt to Save the sample and it tells me there's not enough storage. I've alternatively used the "Write" button to do the same thing with the same results.
What am I missing here? I was under the impression that anything dealing with a user sample, or Re-sample would be written to the DIMM and not internal storage. I'm assuming that I'm doing something wrong...
I tried to find some sort of system setting that allowed you to flip the write assignment to sample RAM vs. storage but can't seem to find it.
I appreciate your response in advance.
