Tweak Book

I see that Artemio released the Tweak Book as planned today.

I have so many positive things to say about this book but don’t really know how to express them. I strongly encourage anybody that is interested in synthesis and tweaking, or that wants to get into it, to check it out. I do have one negative thing to say about the book that I do know how to express though. Because of the Tweak Book I am now obsessed with synthesis and tweaking. My friends and family recognize this, Artemio now has to put up with it (because I have so much to learn), and my posts on the Internet seem to be about nothing else. It is addictive and fortunately for us we have a deep synth engine to work with. Have fun, I hope you enjoy it as much as I have.

Phait: I don't know. On my machine Acrobat Reader shows it a bit ugly too, but I just don't know what's ther prob, although the printed version is fine. Anyway, I use GhostViewand KGhostView which show the book just fine. Acrobat Reader seems to be very inconsistent over different systems.

The TweakBook is fantastic. (Incidentally, the onscreen font looked pretty horrible on my computer as well, but the printed version is fine.)

Thanks, Artemio, for this great resource.

Artemio

What font are you using? If the user's system doesn't have the font, it will create problems. Most of the time, it's a font issue.

Remember that there are only 3 MFX + 1 Reverb + 1 Chorus in Fantom-S/X and you have to share them across 16 parts (patches) in a song.

Guys, I don't know what's up with the font. The font itself is embedded inside the PDF, and it should work. On my system, Acrobat Reader shows the doc ugly too, but the native PDF viewers show it just fine.

The thing is not everybody report such ugliness, Acrobat Reader seems to be inconsistent here across it's versions and OS setups.

I'll try to do my best to improve the look.

I would like to thank the person(s) that recently donated to the Fantomized.info Fund/Artemio for all that he has done including his latest patches and The Fantom S/X Tweak Book.
