Got the SRX-12 to Replace the GX's Rhodes sounds

ok, i'll try those functions out next time. fair to say the same for the CP1 though cause one will not be able to get the most out of it until he/she sit down and works on the sounds a little bit. and the person has to have knowledge how to program.

this is good cause im selling my nord StageEX and maybe get me the 73 SV1 to replace. im not a huge fan of nord as it turns out.

Mind you the Nord is great too.. I'd be hard pressed to really say which rhodes sound was better on the SV-1 or Stage EX... my main concern was getting it into a car for gigs and the price... as the SV-1 was a lot cheaper than the Stage EX here... i.e. about $1000, or 7000 NOK or so...

orangefunk - yah, a lot of folks like the nord's sound and all and it's definitely a nice instrument, but i like to be able to tweak sounds to my liking not just by effects and EQ but be able to edit in more detail like decay, keyoff resonance, sympathetic resonance settings, etc.

on the nord (piano section) is basically a playback machine. for someone that wants to dedicate their time playing than fooling around with editing the nord is perfect.

im 50/50... i like playing with my original sounds.
