Denaun Porter of D12

D. Porter (aka Kon Artis) of Eminem's group D12 uses a Roland Fantom-X. I bought a magazine called Scratch and D. Porter was interviewed and spilled the beans on the equipment he owns. He uses the AKAI MPC2000 XL and Roland Fantom-X.

He is known for producing many tracks for D12 along with music for 50 Cent, Xzibit, Method Man, and Obie Trice.

This must have been a real recent interview since the "X" has only been out a couple of months and there is some lead time required to conduct, edit, and release an interview to the public.

Numerous big name producers do. For some reason, it's just not advertised? I know for a fact that Raphael Saadiq and Jake & the Phatman do. (RnB producers: Erykah Badu, Kelis, D'Angelo, Angie Stone, Lucy Pearl, Dwele...the list goes on.) Neptunes also have a Fantom-S. Just Blaze has also admitted to being a loyal Roland customer, owning an XV I believe.

Yeah, Just Blaze always recommends Roland equipment in interviews.

you also have to realize usually famous producers get equipment WAYY before they are released to the public...i remember swizz beats having a motif literraly months before it was released mainstream.
