Please someone help me figure out what I am doing wrong? How do I record patch, volume, pan and effect parameters (Performance data) in an external sequencer (MPC 2000) and have the track settings load up when I open a sequence and play it.
From searching the forum and reading, I came to the conclusion I should use the SysEx F0 41 10 00 6B 11 10 00 00 00 00 01 00 00 6F F7 in the beginning of the sequence. When I do this only MIDI channel 1 changes and it changes to the wrong patch. Do I put the SysEx string on every track or will all the performance data be written to one track for all MIDI channels?
Do I have to use the Fantom's sequencer for it to transmit SysEx data?
I have the Fantom with:
Synced Slave-MTC.
Program Change transmit on, Bank select transmit on and active sensing on.
Program Change receive on, Bank select receive on and exclusive transmit on.
Everything else is off.
