physical interpretation of filter-values
29 Jul 2009, 14:55Hello,
as im getting deeper into the sound-engine of the SC, i wonder, how to translate those values, ranging from 0 to 127, into actual physical values. regard filter cutoff-frequency: what Hz does a value of 80 mean? or those envelope times: how many seconds is a T2 of 60? a similar question concerns velocity-sensitivity: what effect has a vel-sens of 10 on the aimed value? and probably rolands secret: what are the exact charactaristics of those velocity-curves?
maybe someone has a clue
Bye, Alex
