Am half way throught creating a cubase "parse file" for the fantom G so that it auto recognises the main preset patches.
Can anyone Host this file? I'm sure it would be very useful to Fantom G/Cubase users....

simondragon: I don't think that Art will mind hosting your file to the downloads page on the site. Or maybe we can add a Rapidshare link too. You can upload the parse file here and it will be treated as deserved. :-)

Thanks a lot for this.

Yours welcome cyclops wanted to make this available as other people are putting in some mint patches and I wanted to do my bit.
So how do I upload to the downloads page?

Should finish the file up tonight

I don't know if this gets to the downloads page, this is up to Artemiy. What you can do is upload a link here and I'll upload it to my paid account, so that everyone interested will be able to download the file.

Oops!

I'm sorry but I forgot to tell a cubase parse file was available for the Fantom G (since a few months ago)......

It has besides the patches also the live sets available.

Sorry I didn't tell you before....

OMG... I have looked everywhere for the Logic environment, the .midnam for Pro-Tools, and now that I just bought Cubase I was going to try to make it on my own, but it seems more complicated than some people were trying to convince me of.

Anyways, thanks!!! You don't know how much I love you for this!

P.S. No homo.

Sorry, but I'm new to Cubase. How do I get this to work now?

Do I just need to put this file in the correct folder? If so, what folder?

on my machine its
C:\Users\Simon\AppData\Roaming\Steinberg\Cubase Studio 4\Scripts\Patchnames\inactive\roland

you then install the patch in cubase/decises/midi devices

My machine is on windows 7 though so you might find the location is slightly different.
go to cubase application data on your start bar, the copy file into the
\Steinberg\Cubase Studio\Scripts\Patchnames\inactive\roland

location. hope this helps

I wish I had known about this all along. Now I can stop cursing Roland.

Simon thanks for your reply. I should be able to figure it out now. Thanks.
