SanDisk 8GB Cruzer® Micro USB Flash Drive

Anyone know if a SanDisk 8GB Cruzer® Micro USB Flash Drive will work with the Juno-Stage? A couple of issues I wonder about. The SanDisk says it is Password protected. I'm wondering if the Juno-Stage will get by this protection or have a way to enter or defeat the Password.
Also, the drive comes with some software on it that people seem to be complaining about the difficulty (or impossibility) of removing it from the drive.
Any advice or experience with any problems using various thumb drives will be greatly appreciated. Also, any recommendations.
