Absolutely! All I ask from all of us is that we recognize the atmosphere that Artemio has created and we have worked hard to maintain. I want to hear from everybody! Personally, I can learn from every person and situation I encounter, and I never want to close that off.

There seems to have been a sudden influx, post FX availability, of new vistors who aren't really interested in contributing to the forum (yet) but just using it as a
place to sound off - typically "look at me I have a new FX".

Some however, like Nathan Sheldon, are making a very positive contribution already, and is most welcome.

Once the novelty as worn off I expect things to settle down a little.

I became sick as a dog last night and though I did not think about this forum and what has been happening here the last few days much I did have many personal revelations and after reading one of Septimo's posts this morning it sounds like he did kind of the same thing as this last night as well. Sure, he will probably ruffle some more feathers around here (hopefully to a minor degree) but until he really upsets someone again I say we let him try to show his new ways. I have appreciated second, and sometimes third, chances before in the past and I don't like to see someone else not get the same opportunity.
Sorry to start a new thread for this but I did not want this to get lost in another thread and I do feel this strongly about this.
Now I am off to feel miserable.

FIXED!!!

Damn, I'm fast!

I needed to:
1) open the forum source folder
2) open the "display thread" PHP file
3) edit the mySQL query
4) upload it to the FTP site

And it took only 1 minute!!!

lawrence, when I first came to this comunity, my intentions were not to "sound-off" as you would say. honestly they were jus to learn, about the machine from people who are more experienced than I am. If someone is doing that, it is'nt me!
I just want to learn.
it is true I own the FX, but I don't think I should feel bad about that, should I?? or maybe I should'nt even mention it so I don't make anyone else feel bad, and then latter get accused of sounding-off.

to be honest guys, I really don't feel like having this type of argument any longer, wich does'nt have anything to do with the machine, but more about morals.

like FATBOY said, this does not mean I won't be lookin out for people who write nonsense, but I will do it in a much more respectful manner.
