Another problem I'm having with my spectronic omnisphere. I want the arpegeator to sync with my fantom g but I can't figure out how to do this or how it's done can I get so help please. My fantom g is my master seq I don't want to record into ableton live at all I just want my spectronics omnisphere arp to sync with my fantom g seq can this be done this is the only problem I'm having with the omnisphere.

Thanks for the help

1. What audio interface are you using now with Ableton? Are you on a PC or a Mac? What kind of computer do you have? Is it a laptop? CPU/Memory?

2. Synch the arpeggiator by providing MIDI clock from the Fantom G to Ableton and set synch on in Ableton. Refer to the Ableton manual for how to do that.

Ok, sounds like the same kind of setup I had on my PC laptop also. I had the same stuttering and dropouts using the Fantom G USB drivers. I'm sure you have already tried changing buffer sizes etc without luck?

I think you should ask/demand Roland for USB driver updates and you are on the right path thinking about getting a firewire interface.
