FX external Omni On/Off how?

FX external Omni On/Off how?

Are there Omni On/Off, Poly or Mono MIDI mode options in the FX? I am trying to control my PK6 with the FX but I can only do it one channel at a time. I cant get more than one channel to play simultaneously. It only plays the patch that is currently on screen. Its like the Fantom will only send to one MIDI channel at a time externally? How do I fix this? How do I cut off the channels I do not want sent to the external module? Thanks

All you have to do is make sure you are in multi-mode. Hit the MIXER button. Then hit the SONG EDIT button. This will then have all of the 16 tracks in order. To the right of the track list, right next to track 1, track 2, track 3, etc, there is a collumn that allows you to set up each track to send data however you want. You can choose OFF, INTERNAL, MIDI, or BOTH. The only other thing you may need to do, is to make sure the MIDI transmit and recieve settings are set the way you want them. If so, hit MENU, SYSTEM, then MIDI. Here you can set things the way you want them... Good luck.

THATS IT! I had been looking all over for those options (I knew they were there in a common place). I found an alternative but this is the "proper" way I had been looking for. Thanks wub, looks like there is going to be a MPC on Ebay very soon haha. $500 OBO for a MPC 1K with JJ OS 1, any takers?
