My Juno-G Research/Suggestion

Over 1000 sounds I'm checking 100 a day and putting them in a notebook (the old fashioned kind, paper, remember paper?) listing the good ones and where I can use them "jazz track, techno, etc" plus listing any new sounds I come up with also what I did to tweak them. So if I ever need to reset my Juno, I have the info on file.
I also list sounds when artists mention what they use for example, Donald Fagen described the settings on his keyboard a while back, and writing it down, I was able to get it close to his style.

Plus when you're a musician/hobbyist, it's just cool to have a notebook filled with pages of musical ideas :-)

i'd rather do it in a spreadsheet, personally, printing when necessary.

besides, my handwriting has gone to $#!+ thanks to PCs! ;)

That's a really good idea. I'm a new Juno-G owner, and have been getting lost in exploring the various sounds, MFX settings, etc.

Yeah, a simple little notebook dedicated solely to this. Cool.

I have a notebook in my gig bag. I usually use it to jot down splits/layers ideas for new songs we're working on (I tend to "write" with just Hammond, piano or EP then create or find sounds afterwards), but the odd phone number and address creep in there too.

When you get to my age you forget to finish thi
